What is ANDROID ?

Android is a software stack for mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware and key applications. The Android SDK provides the tools and APIs necessary to begin developing applications on the Android platform using the Java programming language



RIM better watch out! Close on the heels of unsettling Nokia’s Symbian OS and hopping on to the numero uno mobile phone operating system slot on a global basis, the Google OS is now heading for RIM territory. The Android OS has, in fact, beaten almost everybody except RIM’s BlackBerry. Going by the current pace, it seems like RIM will also be overtaken by Android very soon.
